December Highlights

A Russian group seeking strategic planning and investment advice for large heavy investment projects met with Tracs International, EC Harris, ERM, Ernst & Young and Steptoe & Johnson LLP to discuss current investment conditions in project finance

November Highlights

A 15-member delegation representing the largest non-state pension fund in Russia visited London to share best practice in managing and administering global corporate pension schemes. A forum on HSE Management took place in Stavanger, Norway attended by Russian as well as UK/European delegates. Notable speakers included Scandpower AS, Technip Norge, Falck Nutec, Antenor Management Systems, Aspelund Energy Consulting and International Research Institute of Stavanger (IRIS)

October Highlights

In order to maximise the media, broadcasting and marketing opportunities offered by the 2014 Winter Olympics, a leading sponsor company was introduced to UK based PR, advertising and marketing specialists including Freud Communications, Taylor Keogh, Bell Pottinger and Shared Value

September Highlights

A dedicated group of professionals representing the Russian municipal and industrial wastewater markets visited London to explore advances in the practical application of the pipeline repair technology. One-to-one sessions were arranged with Balfour Beatty, Flex-Seal, 3M, GSE Lining also including a technical visit to a Sewage Treatment Works operated by Anglian Water

Various new and emerging Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) technologies were presented to an 8-member Russian and Kazakh delegation by experts representing Wintershall AG, Imperial College, RPS Energy, IRIS Norway, Schlumberger and Heriott Watt University

August Highlights

An 18-member delegation from Russia’s largest Oil Company visited Norway and Denmark and were introduced to Corporate Fraud Detection and Prevention experts from StatoilHydro, A/S Norske Shell, PwC, DLA Piper, Marsh Risk Consulting, Ernst & Young and the Danish Investigation Centre July Highlights

A group of Legal professionals from Russia’s leading Oil companies attended a series of meetings on International Arbitration, ADR and Legal Aspects of M&As with experts representing Pinsent Masons, Steptoe & Johnson, The Law Society, Cobbetts, Eversheds and SJ Berwin LLP

Heads of Finance & Planning and Treasury Management at ‘Rosnanotech (RCNT)’ - Russia's state nanotechnology organization met experts at London Knowledge Innovation Centre (LKIC), Nano KTN and the Institute of Nanotechnology at University of Stirling to seek advice on developing business and marketing plans to launch new technologies.

June Highlights

A strategy to ensure security of Information Resources is an area most Russian companies remain keen to explore and develop further. A high level 8-member delegation visited London from 16 -18 June 2009 to attend board room meetings on Tackling Information Security, Corporate Fraud & Data Protection Issues and met with presenters representing F&H Risk Solutions, IWAR UK, PwC, EMC Corp., Interchange Solutions, Institute of Business Ethics and Norton Rose LLP.
