May Highlights Study of the experience of heavy oil recovery in Calgary A seminar of Innovative Technologies in Heavy Oil Recovery, highlighting In-Situ Combustion (ISC) from examples of the Canadian experience took place in Calgary (Canada) from 16 – 22 May. Amongst the delegates attending were representatives of oil companies from Tyumen, Kazakhstan and Tatarstan and to substantiate the visit, the group was brought by helicopter to the oil field to witness the efficiency of Petrobank technology of oil recovery by in-situ combustion.
